• Serve as a DMPK representative to identify and address ADME issues and provide guidance to project teams on lead optimization.• Identify drug metabolites/metabolic pathways using high resolution mass spectrometry (MetID).• Perform various in vitro ADME assays (PPB, metabolic stability assays, reaction phenotyping, blood to plasma partitioning assays, etc.) to support drug discovery projects.• Analyze protein samples and their phosphorylation level using LC-MS to support project needs.

• Engineered metal binding sites of metalloproteins to study structure-function relationships.• Characterized covalent modifications of proteins/peptides, identified protein variants, and determined the stoichiometry of protein-ligand complexes using mass spectrometry (LC-MS, native protein-MS).• Developed an HDX-MS method to study structural changes of metal/DNA binding proteins.• Implemented biophysical characterization methods (ITC, SEC-MALS, MST), spectroscopy (UV-vis, ICP-OES, fluorescence), and biological assays to investigate metalloprotein structure-function relationships. • Trained junior graduate researchers on conducting MS experiments and supervised undergraduate students on biological assays and experiments.Teaching experience• Taught undergraduate level chemistry labs for groups of 20+ students and assisted students in small groups and one-on-one settings.
