Assemble a new team to facilitate and manage the development of Adidas Originals models.

(1) Managed 2 Tech teams on CanSports and AllWells to run commercialization trials, effectively perform a production risk assessment, and identify creative solutions to shorten learning curve and achieve target output. (2) Successfully directed the ‘manufacturing and quality culture transformation’ and the Manufacturing Quality Assurance Audit process which resulted in Allwells to be authorized to produce Nike’s products.(3) Worked closely with Nike manufacturing team and engaged in the on-going identification and sharing best practices, supported formulation of the annual manufacturing and engineering strategy and insured all Nike policies and requests were clearly communicated and understood by all functional departments.(4) Lead strategic initiatives: Tier 1 vendor: - New Facility Engineering Validation (include Manufacturing Quality Assurance Audit process) - New Facility Ramp up Plan - Quality Management System - Manufacturing Capability Assessment -Failure mode and effects analysis (FMCA).Tier 2 vendor: - New Vendor Engineering Validation program

(1) Led the development & engineering team to ensure that products consistently met Nike’s standards in terms of target FOB, and quality (fit and feel, performance, and durability) and manufacturability.(2) Improved the team’s skills and confidence with coaching and by providing opportunities for each to grow their shoe making ability through internal (Tier 1) and external (Tier 2 & 3) learning experiences.

(1) Coordinated with Nike headquarter, Vietnam, China and Indonesia factories to ensure a timely and within budget completion of several key strategic projects.(2) Oversaw the product development and identified and implemented innovative solutions to drive cost reduction while improving quality and functionality. (3) Led the several promotional initiatives of shoes for NBA players.(4) Managed an assortment of “in-line” innovation projects aimed to simplify manufacturing processes, to research novel and affordable technical materials, to reduce the product environmental footprint, and to create new IP and Rubber compounds. Presented the results on these projects at the NIKE Global Summit, Maui, 2015.
