Manages the town’s geospatial and digital databases to improve both municipal and emergency response operations such as road maintenance, fire hydrant georeferencing, water and sewer main detection, and storm water management. Has gained a plethora of skills in asset management and is the main editor in a pending grant application for the removal of the North Bellingham Dam from the Charles River, New England’s most prominent urban river. Provides additional assistance to town-wide operations by producing maps and detailed plans to facilitate project operations such as nightly line striping, stormwater BMP maintenance, and sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) preparation and prevention. Also assists in municipality roadway and street sign inventory updates. Aided the Bellingham Conservation Commission’s implementation of a town-wide open space plan by conducting extensive land surveys and assessments of town-owned parcels.

Significantly improved the newly formed department’s public outreach networks. Gained in-depth collaboration and networking skills, along with website editing and social media production skills.

Developed technical GIS skills & a robust ability to identify and record unique geologic features. Worked extensively with LIDAR imagery. Assisted in the production of a surficial geologic map and cross sections for the Vermont State Geologic Survey using GIS software. Data acquisition and interpretation skills were acquired, along with the ability to produce and present a scientific report at a professional conference. Results of research presented at the Vermont Geologic Society’s Annual Spring Conference at Middlebury College in April of 2023 - Surficial Geology of the Ridley Brook Valley, Vermont.

Responsibly drove & operated box trucks weighing up to 30,000 pounds across New England unassisted. Successfully delivered up to 13,000 pounds of ice per day to research laboratories, medical facilities, convenience stores, and gas stations in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
