Joined existing board to help lend professional experience / knowledge and network to help grow program aimed at providing high school students the opportunity to gain internships with Bay Area-based corporations. Board is charged with ideation, fostering relationships with students and companies who may be able to help fulfill this promise and to promote a better future for these students.

Serve as mentor to various international start-ups. Offer presentations to teams of foreign entrepreneurs interested in either moving operations to the Bay Area or setting up U.S. operations/sales outside of their home country. Mentorships include AutoPlug.in (Poland), HomeAway (Ireland), ESM Labs (Korea), Travelove (Czech Republic), SmartStudy (Korea), Segmatic (Ireland) and Azalead (France.) Establish contact and arrange for meetings with prospective U.S. based clients and/or partners. Collaborate on business model development, strategy, partnerships, pricing and distribution of hardware and software (native mobile apps and desktop) B-to-B and B-to-C solutions.

Meet weekly with underperforming student to improve reading and comprehension capabilities. Worked with 4th-grade girl during 2011-2012 school year. Student was 1 grade level behind at inception of our working together. Ended school year at her appropriate reading level.Returned to Reading Partners in Feb 2015 and am currently working with a 3rd grade student who is 1/2 grade behind in his reading abilities.

Collaborate with a number of technology companies - primarily mobile, but also desktop and content - ranging from early stage start-up through enterprise-level clientele. Currently engaged with a global, full-service agency (IPG) , a global content producer / localization firm (Bridgehead Media) and as a mentor to various overseas startups (U.S. Market Access Center - US MAC.)Expertise spans business development, project management and marketing functions - including strategy creation, competitive analyses, smartphone app distribution, user acquisition campaigns, app monetization and content licensing / tools acquisition, business operations, analytics and project management roles. Drafted Product Requirements Documents and led RFP processes to select 3rd party design and development shops best fit for various mobile applications spanning verticals including local search, retail, consumer games, productivity and legal.Served as Business Development executive for MyCityWay - pioneered efforts to develop cross-platform mobile applications (from ideation through and beyond initial launch) and led user acquisition and monetization efforts. Succeeded in securing 100% funding of native MyCityWay applications on WindowsPhone7, BlackBerry (PlayBook), Samsung (Bada) and Nokia S40 platforms.

Central point of contact for all IAC Businesses with a mobile presence - spanning mobile web and native applications. Businesses included Match.com, Evite, The Daily Beast, Urbanspoon, Ask.com and others. Partnerships forged spanned the mobile ecosystem - Apple, Google, Amazon, Millennial Media, Quattro Wireless, Pivotal Labs and others.
