Executed plan on schedule and on budget; reduced risk, streamlined operations, improved efficiency and improved audit rating.Created project team to launch local dollar investment solutions in Trinidad and Tobago, and establish local Asset Management Unit. Oversaw all aspects of fund launch from regulatory, operations, marketing and training, as well as creating portfolio management infrastructure with automated trading.Ensured key initiatives with business partners in the English Caribbean remained in line with overall strategy. Established networks to leverage support and best practices from head office, conducted regular reviews of financial performance, designed and maintained executive reporting.

Implemented structural changes to Scotiabank Mutual Funds in Cayman to improve marketability and competitiveness of the Funds. Revamped prospectus, updated fee structure, hired new portfolio managers, created communication strategy, enlisted legal counsel and met regulatory requirements in four separate jurisdictions.Assembled project team to launch Jamaican dollar Money Market Fund providing an alternative investment to the Bank of Jamaica REPO. Hired and worked with local legal firm on regulatory documents, oversaw operational set up, creation and execution of sales strategy and training.
