I'm a Senior Director of Programs at Omidyar Network, the social change venture established by philanthropists Pam and Pierre Omidyar. I think of myself as a generalist, but in recent years I've gone deep on questions like "what would it take to build belonging in the United States?" and "how might we strengthen people's power to shape the digital revolution?" My work as a strategist and social scientist spans 20 years of cross-sector experience, including previous roles at the Hollywood-based cultural consultancy Propper Daley; community organizing tech startup NationBuilder; University of Pennsylvania; and the tech section of the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division. The 9/11 attacks shaped my trajectory as a political scientist. After Duke, I went on to earn my Ph.D. in international political economy at Princeton. I serve as board chair at Inclusive Action and vice chair at CoGenerate. LA is home.
