I was a teaching assistant for the course Computing for Applied Mathematics. It is an introduction course for both undergraduate and graduate students at JHU to learn about Python and the mathematical theories behind coding. It was my job to hold weekly office hours, grade assignments and facilitate in-class participation among students.

During the internship, I assisted other associates with valuation models for various complex securities, including earnout, incentive units and carried interests, using OPM, Monte Carlo simulations, and other financial models. I also collaborated with other interns to collect insightful information of the structured finance market, which was presented in the report for the potential clients.

My role was to assist students at the University of California, San Diego with their calculus courses. I was usually assigned to facilitate workshops for vector calculus. I would design weekly workshops and incorporate engaging activities for all students to participate in. The goals of my workshops were to help student learn actively and become successful in their calculus courses.

My role was to guide students in the study group for an economic course (Econ 1) and createactivities to get Summer Bridge students engaged in the study group. Summer Bridge is atransition program which helps students who are usually from underrepresented groups adaptto the new environment in UCSD.
