Hikma is an economist with a passion for making agriculture a profitable business in sub-Saharan countries by using youth involvement as a sustainability strategy. She has a diverse set of skills that include conducting in-depth research, creating business plans, analyzing data using various tools, project management and monitoring project activities. She strongly believes that innovation can enhance productivity in both human and industrial activities and is always eager to adapt to new environments and learn new things. With excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in challenging situations, Hikma is confident that she can make valuable contributions to any team.Her thesis for her Master of Science in Development Economics focused on the effect of credit constraint on technology adoption of small holder farmers in Ethiopia. She used the World Bank's LSMS data set to analyze the data and found that farmers who had access to credit were more likely to adopt new technologies. This finding has important implications for development policy, as it suggests that providing farmers with access to credit can help to improve agricultural productivity.In addition , Hikma is also a trainer for basic marketing and youth in agri business. She has delivered training to cooperatives in Ethiopia and Uganda on how to market their produce and how to involve youth in Agri-business. She is passionate about using her skills to help others and is committed to making a positive impact on the world.
