I was a Medical Doctor at the MSF Covid Treatment Centre in Kachin (Myitkyina); being responsible for co-ordinating meetings with State Health Director for it's opening and ensuring proper admission of moderate to severely ill Covid Pneumonia cases as well as the availability of important drugs at the CTC. Due to my actions and cooperation of the senior management team and colleagues, Myitkyina CTC was the clinic in MSF Holland project with the most successful one regarding patient number as well as patient outcomes. Before this I have worked as The Medical officer responsible for PSI TOP GP Hybrid clinic providing a complete health care package for Key Populations to control the HIV Epidemic in Kachin as a satellite clinic for the NAP. Bringing in a new approach in providing comprehensive care for STI and HIV prevention and treatment in a very private and confidential and friendly setting for Key Population clients. (2018 -2020)Prior to and after this up till now, as a General Practitioner I am freely able to collaborate with MMA PPM TB program, MMA malaria program, and Youth friendly clinic Initiative under UKAID.I have accepted the role of Chairman of General Practitioners Society under Myanmar Medical Association, and we carried out Covid prevention campaigns promoting proper mask wearing, and Hand sanitization campaigns by free distribution of masks and Hand gels; Setting up Awareness raising Vinyl posters and Billboards during the Covid Epidemic in Kachin. Spreading of HE messages about Covid and prevention by broadcasting prerecorded messages in digital loud speakers to the Administrative Body in Myitkyina townships.Previously I was a Medical Doctor also with MSF Holland at The Frontiers for the fight against HIV AIDS in the early beginning when there was no other actor providing care to HIV AIDS victims in various parts of Myanmar; in the suburbs of Hlaing Thayar and Thaketa and also in many parts of Kachin; Phakant and Bhamo Moe Gaung and Myitkyina. ( 2001 - 2015 )After 10 years as a Medical Officer I was the Clinic Manager in 2 MSF clinics before I joined WHO as a special service contract staff for NAP in Nay Pyi Taw PMTCT program. Later I joined Medical Action Myamnar as the Project Coordinator for Kachin and was responsible for coordination of Anti Malaria, Basic Health care and Emergency support program as well as HIV AIDS Activities in Kachin for Medical Action Myanmar.
