My work included a number of projects. The first one being on downtime reduction. Analysed the causes and frequency trends in breakdown data of flour factories in Delhi. Using the analysis, prepared an elaborate preventive maintenance schedule and identified critical spares to be kept in factory storage. In the 2nd project, Applied a mathematical model to flour impact machines to predict flow pattern and calculated its maximum theoretical efficiency. Then conducted experiments and calculated working efficiency. Suggested design improvements to bridge the gap in efficiency and to further increase the throughput.

Worked on optimization of the factory warehouse where parts are stored prior to being sent on the assembly line. As a part of ongoing expansion ,new assembly lines were being put up. New stacking plans were devised for current as well as the new assembly lines which resulted in improved space utilization and faster response time
