I'm an Adjunct Professor in AI and Natural Language Processing at Schulich School of Business. Throughout my career, I have straddled the line between natural and artificial intelligence, beginning with Ph.D. research on how language –a compositional system– arises from the combined computations and communication of millions of simple interconnected units: the neurons of our brains. As a researcher, I built experimental systems and analyzed large physiological and behavioural datasets. Currently, my focus is on artificial neural networks, NLP and applying large language models to automate tasks that just a few years ago required manual labour.Skills: NLP, Question Answering, Data Science, Cognitive Neuroscience, & Python.
