The X-Data Project aims to build an one-stop blockchain information platform, by collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources including: mainstream crypto news websites, currency exchanges, public blockchains and social media websites.Responsibilities:1. Communicated with investment analysts to gather product requirements and translated then into technical requirement documents.2. Designed, developed, deployed and operated X-Data’s backend system, delivered multiple services (came from requirements) in production.3. Collaborated with frontend engineers by providing high-quality RESTful APIs to delivery well-designed web pages.4. Operated cloud servers along with other components (mongoDB, redis, domain, tsdb etc.) on Tencent Cloud.

The Elastic Object Storage(EOS) is a distributed storage service that enables you to store any amount of data from anywhere via standard S3/Swift APIs without any restrictions on data structure or format. The system consists multiple sub-systems with independent functions and all sub-systems cooperated to achieve high-performance, reliable, safe and low-costs storage service.Responsibilities:1. Leader of Automated Operation team, scheduled and completed development of multiple automated features like overload protection, data recovery, fault isolation etc.2. Member of Gateway team, developed features including cross-domain traffic scheduling and traffic volume control.3. Member of DevOps team, developed a GitLab robot to automate code management, features including prechecks, prereview, auto-label, auto-merge etc.4. Collaborated with teams on outdated resource pools migration project. Designed and Testing the migration plan, developed migration tool, advised new resource pools construction and operated the migration.

The Crypto Knowledge Graph Project aims to build a Knowledge Base for person, company and project in the Crypto Domain. The project’s scope involves Web Mining, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Knowledge Fusion and Graph Visualization.Responsibilities:1. Designed and developed a stable, efficient, scalable and well-documented Web Mining Framework, and the framework effectively store structured / unstructured data from 150+ domains in a timely manner. Components included are Admin Page, Proxy Pool, Realtime Content Extraction module, Article Extraction module, Twitter Monitor etc. 2. Collaborated with Domain expert on developing the WeChat Robot Project. The Robot offers weak interactive instructions and information distribution service to bridge the Graph Project and other outside resources to WeChat Platform. 3. Deployed and operated all projects and database (MongoDB and neo4j) associated with the Knowledge Graph Project on Tencent Cloud.4. Open-sourced a lite version of this Web Mining Framework has been uploaded on GitHub: skyhook.

Jike App is an interest-based content distribution application aims to build an online social community for the Chinese younger generation. The Web Mining Project provides roughly 70% content for the App. Based on the requirements from editors and users, the mining framework schedules crawling tasks to track user interested content both efficiently and dynamically.Responsibilities:1. Operated the Web Mining Framework, components including Core Management System, Proxies module, Content Extraction module, Scheduler, Job Workers, Video Downloader etc. 2. Refactored the Scheduler module, reduced the total polling time of around half million crawl tasks from 20mins to 5mins.3. Operated the Media Extraction Project using TypeScript. The project would automatically extract detailed video information – including metadata, thumbnail, true video URL etc. – from 30+ different video domain sites.

The System aims to monitor regional energy consumption through various physical devices in real time, while generating energy report routinely. Experts of energy saving could discover energy-saving potentials based on findings of the system.Responsibilities:1. Major contributor of two modules with C/C++ language: DBA (Database Agent) module, which transmits stored structured data from DP module into database and retrieves data for frontend team use; meanwhile, the other module named DP (Data Process) module can format data received from monitored devices. 2. Designed database structure including tables, views and stored procedures.3. Worked as the technical assistant for the company, deploying and maintaining various servers like mail, file, web etc., laying out company’s network structure and answering general technical questions.

Responsibilities:1. Participated in the Services Control Gateway (SCG), which is a third-party charge system for Telcos providing additional services for subscribers.2. Tested two specific versions of the product, including building, reviewing and executing automated and manual test cases, by using self-developed testing tool-kits.3. Provided online technical support on product deployment for engineers at oversea stations.
