I am a licensed California architect with over fifteen years of progressive design and construction experience. I am currently a Senior Project Architect with Perkins&Will in San Francisco.At my previous employer, London-based Foster + Partners, I contributed to the design of numerous high profile projects. Examples include the Bloomberg Headquarters in London, the Hermitage Towers in Paris and the SAMBA Bank Tower in Riyadh. As a Content Partner for ArchDaily I write on the topic of architecture careers and what it takes to be an effective, successful applicant.After the downturn in 2008 I began to mentor many aspiring and practicing architects on job searches, applications, portfolios and interviews. As a way of helping the architecture community, I created The Architect's Guide blog to discuss the complex task of building a successful career in architecture. In 2009 I formed BH Architecture to provide design and visualization consulting services for architecture and development firms. The usual project typologies include mid-size residential and commercial projects.I am certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
