Dr. Hubert Jaeger co-founded Uniscon and grew it to more than 50 employees. Today, Uniscon is the technology leader in cloud security and has fast growing business (winner of the Deloitte Fast 50 Award). TÜV SÜD joined Uniscon in 2017 and completely took over the high-tech start-up in 2020.He is the main inventor of the world's first cloud platform, whose administrators and operators, due to technical security measures cannot access the data processed for the users. The hardness of this sovereign confidential processing (Confidential Computing) goes so far that penetration tests can be passed from the inside for the first time. Even with full knowledge of the system, all admin credentials and access to the data center, no violation of the confidentiality and integrity of processed data is possible.The scalable and highly available platform meanwhile - through the integration of standard Kubernetes - allows the operation of all conceivable applications (medicine, IIoT, KRITIS, collaboration, etc.); "virtual", however as secure as "on premises".Numerous awards: Technology competitions "Trusted Cloud" and "Smart Services" from the BMWi, EuroCloud "Best Innovation Potential", German Data Center Award 2019, and much more.Participation in data protection standards TCDP and AUDITOR as well as DIN Spec 27070.

Dr. Jaeger was responsible for the software development of the largest enterprise telephone system and enterprise telephones with a combined product turnover of more than 700 M€. He was responsible for more than 300 employees. He was the winner of the "iF product design award 2007" for excellent product design.

The "Innovation Board Office", which has been co-established by him, was responsible for the "Disruptive Innovation Management" at board and group level. This included setting up a "think tank" and an "idea funnel" with a "stage gate process". Among other innovations he worked on the standardization of WLAN multi-hop networks (IEEE 802.11s). He received the Siemens AG Innovation Award in 2005.

Dr. Jaeger successfully worked for sales of new solutions for Ethernet over SDH in transport networks. He brought on important system decisions (> 20 M €) in China and Italy.

Hubert was involved in strategy development and the search for acquisition targets for Optisphere. He set up technical sales and a solution marketing team and organized sales training. He was able to bring on the system decisions of several well-known US carriers for ultra-high-capacity transmission systems of Optisphere Networks Inc.

During his first engagement after completing his doctorate at ETH Zurich, Dr. Jaeger invented a new type of photonic cross-connect. He was given product and development management for this new product. He accompanied the successful market entry: Bell Canada was soon able to benefit from a "disaster recovery" after an interruption of a transatlantic transmission link. He was honored with the invention "A Transparent Fiber Optical Network" as "Inventor of the Year 2000" from Siemens AG.

Hubert worked in the semiconductor pioneer's development laboratory, manually found peripheral “latch-up” transistors and automated the characterization of high-voltage transistors, a process that was subsequently used in quality assurance in production.
