Leading and managing a group of 22 scientists and technicians working in the field of human toxicology and risk assessment. Scientific advice is provided to the Norwegian Government, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, the Norwegian Scientific Committee on Food Safety and the Norwegian Environment Agency. In addition, are our experts are actively involved in work for EFSA, ECHA and SPPS. The group is also responsible for maintaining the Norwegian Food Allergy Register and the Norwegian Registry for Adverse Effects from the use of Cosmetic products.The team is actively involved in research within topic liks immunetoxicology, neurotoxicology and developmental toxicity. Recent activities include nanatoxicology, in vitro skin absorption, Adverse Outcome Pathways, PBPK modelling, Helix, Euromix, preventADALL and behavioural tests. We are always interested in exploring new colaborations!

Leading and managing a group of 30 scientists (including PhD students and post-docs), advisors and technicians focusing on food toxicology related topics, water related health topics and effects of chemicals as present in the environment on the immune system and development of allergy. Special focus area is combining exposure data and immune-related effects using data from large population cohorts. The group is also responsible for maintaining the Norwegian Food Allergy Register and the Norwegian Registry for Adverse Effects from the use of Cosmetics. The group is performing experimental work on relevant topics, presenting data on national and international meetings, actively participating in a large international network of experts and is involved in providing consultancy to both national and international agencies.

Leading and managing 5 global development pharma teams in a large international matrix organisation. All teams included members from USA, UK, China or Japan. Development of dedicated equipment/software was included in all projects and was achieved within agreed time lines. Developing User Requirement Specifications, engineering and building/sourcing of this equipment (polarisers, clean room, optical imaging hardware, and software) was a critical path activity in each project Winning a 12 million kroner grant from the Norwegian Research Council to advance one of the programs
