I am currently in my fourth year of studying MEng Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Glasgow where I am predicted to graduate with a First Class degree.I also work concurrently with my studies at Tesco as a Customer Service Desk Colleague. Working in fast-paced retail has enabled me to manage my time more efficiently and vastly increased my teamwork and communication skills. I often take supervisory roles, which have improved my leadership skills. Working on multiple, interdisciplinary projects at university has enhanced various skills such as CAD, Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics and MATLAB.I am an active member of UGAeronautics, a society dedicated to designing self-propelled cargo aircraft. As part of the CAD team, I contributed to our inaugural competition at the Aachen Air Cargo Challenge 2024, where we proudly finished 11th overall and were the highest-ranked UK team.I look forward to undertaking engineering internships to broaden my skill set and work within the Aerospace industry when I graduate.
