Looking to pursue a research position after finishing my Master's Thesis on Speech Genre Synthesis through Text Classification and Expressive Speech Synthesis. I am eager to be in a project which seeks to apply technology to a complex issue, and examine the impacts and social circumstances thereof.I aim to maximise deliverable quality and ensure that my work has impact. I strive to make my work comprehensible to a broad audience and relevant to current affairs. I also aim to provide useful insight into how to progress forward and to build robust theoretical foundations.Within Voice Technology I am particularly interested in improving the quality of speech synthesis; particularly prosody. I seek to innovate Speech Synthesis, TTS and ASR applicability to broader AI issues also, such as Healthcare, Entertainment and Commerce.Aside from Voice Technology, I am interested in the Ethics of AI & Algorithms, Political Polarisation, Online Journalism, Online Echo Chambers, Interdisciplinarity, Team Science, Data Visualisation, Science Communication, Data Science, Machine Learning among many others. I aim to be flexible and adaptive to any new challenges that I am faced with.Always looking to expand my skillset.
