I worked on computers, networks, and printers. My main part in the company was computer repair but I did network setups such as setting up domains and running networks and setting up shares and virtual private networks. The secondary income from businesses was printer support so I had to do a lot of troubleshooting and hardware replacements on many types of printers such as Laser, Inkjet, and Dot Matrix. Computech Systems Mart also sold DSL and Dialup and had their own E-Mail system. I had to help and give the advice to support and help maintain customer’s connections and help them order the amount of bandwidth that they would need. I had to be very versatile at this job as nothing was ever the same from job to job like every one of the customers had their own needs and setups.

This job was very well rounded I had to support customers remotely or in-person if remote access was a security risk. I worked and supported computers, databases, websites, printers (mainly laser), and third-party software solutions many of them were Citrix or Java. This job was very demanding as in my group that covered many divisions of government (2,000 client computers and about 900 employees) there were only three other technicians where we would work together at the time but mostly alone unless someone needed help with a problem.
