Reviews and corrects drawings of his/her discipline.• Conducts visit to building sites to monitor compliance with design requirements and/or assists site team whenever technical difficulties are encountered during execution. Surveys existing installations and provides report.• Tracks the document lists (drawings, standards, RFI’s, etc.) under his/her discipline.• Review and approve mechanical and piping drawings developed by Third-Party Contractor.• Provide technical support to other teams for mechanical and piping concerns.• Coordinate with project leaders to define user requirements and engineering standards prior procurement.• Ensure compliance to both International and Philippine Industry Code and Standards such as the ASME, API, and other International and local standards.• Monitor new local regulations related to Industrial operations and ensure our designs and standards adhere to LGU, PEZA or other compliance and permitting requirements.• Provide input on new or alternative components for improved design or cost reduction.• Review specifications and recommend engineering changes, if any, to achieve efficient mechanical design criteria.
