Currently I manage a team working with FMCG chains + mass market chains in Poland, mentioning a few most important: Jeronimo Martins Polska, Auchan, LIDL, Smyk and Empik - supplying them with products from Rebel portfolio (board games) and Pokemon Trading Card Game (collectible cards).During my studies, I've worked as a salesman in a chain book store. At the same time a new store of this chain was opened, and I was recommended there as a book section manager with a team of people on my disposal. My work in "Kolporter Sieci Handlowe" ended with close down of the whole subgroup, but I had already new work proposal. I was about starting my dream job and I knew that.My hobby at those times was playing board games. I've liked meeting with people above the paper board, chatting, discussing, playing, discovering new worlds together with my co-players.I've met a managing director of Rebel.pl - company at that times known of being the largest online board game store and currently a wholesaler and publisher with worldwide reach.Furthermore, I've started to work there as a store manager, quickly being promoted to wholesale and international sales with later specialization to key accounting.During my work in Rebel.pl developed from garage-like, small company into limited liability company with currently (2023) 130+ workers, not losing much of the friendly atmosphere, later on being acquired by Asmodee Group, which is currently part of Embracer Group.I do what I like, I work with people I love and with product I enjoy.
