EXECUTIVE SUMMARYHubert has taken the principles and frameworks of Agile and Lean and applied them to industry, manufacturing, and physical products with his business partner Peter Borsella. The core of the Industrial Agile Framework™ is simple: bring all relevant people together in a team, have the team deliver physical product early and often, inspect the product early and often, and steer the team and their work based on these inspections. Simple – not easy. As a seasoned pioneer in the Agile world, Hubert has observed a number of Agile consultants who did not take responsibility for ensuring success and who were not a part of the project. As an experienced coach, Hubert provides a hands-on experience where, as an integral member of the team, he works out problems with clients in order for everyone to get the most worthwhile experience. This is taken as far as building a concept car with client teams during a training event. With Hubert’s expert coaching, teams learn and embrace new thinking and practices, unlearn and get rid of muscle memory, and become able to distinguish which old practices are worth keeping in the new framework.Hubert has worked with startups, sometimes for years, and teams in the US, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East, plus mixes of people from all of those regions, at times in a single team. Specific industrial experience includes electronics (CISCO Voice Technology), banking equipment (ARCA), and chip design and manufacturing (Cobham Semiconductor and Space Solutions). Specific software experience includes banking (Intelligent Finance, BoA), insurance (Stoneriver), and service organizations (AOL). He facilitated the first Agile for Industry gathering and co-created the Charter for Product Development in 2016.
