I am a current graduate student of the Master of science of Prosthetics and Orthotics (MSPO) at Kennesaw state university. I have a diverse background in therapy based settings both outpatient and inpatient. The majority of my experience however is with patients with acquired brain injury’s. I am well versed in rehabilitation activities such as ADL’s, gait training and overall strength and conditioning exercises administered by the attending physician (PT/OT). Also, my specific position required being very familiar with activity based therapy technologies such as Lokomat, Zero-g, and many other devices in robotic and general orthotics used to further enhance the rehabilitation of patients. As an O/P student I am gaining more and more experience in fabrication and clinical procedures of creating and delivering orthotics and prosthetics for persons with amputations and persons with other disabilities that effect their quality of life.
