We are in a world where businesses continue to focus on growing their geographical customer base. Some are focused on expanding within a given state or country, while others are looking to spread their business across the globe. With this focus of geographical expansion comes a need for logistics and operations management to ensure the efficient and effective transportation of goods and services.This brings me to my passion! I love to help businesses accomplish their different goals and please their customers. Logistics done well makes the world a little smaller, and I love to help businesses spread across the globe.Not only do I have the passion for helping companies become efficient and effective, especially in the transportation industry, but I also have experience and education to accompany me. I have learned about the trucking and freight forwarding business from a young age because my parents own Idaho Specialized Transportation. From the moment I was able to work, I engaged myself within the industry and learned as much as I possibly could, which continues to help me today.I am scheduled to graduate December 2018 with my bachelor's degree in business administration and operations management from Utah State University. While attending school, I accepted a job working for Sandridge Bulk Haulers, where I was promoted to operations manager. Within the first few months of my new job, I was able to help the company save tens of thousands of dollars in becoming more efficient in their processes and correcting discrepancies.The goal of saving money and improving processes continues to be my goal.
