A PhD graduate in Computational Science and Engineering from MIT, before that I obtained a masters in engineering from Cambridge university, including time at the Whittle Laboratory for turbomachinery. My interests include green energy, computational science, physics simulation, machine learning and scientific computation more broadly. My graduate work was in computational fluid dynamics, finite element methods, error estimation, mesh adaptivity, optimization, and applied mathematics. Having previously worked in flight controls and modeling, I am now moving into design and simulation of quantum computing devices. Outside of the office I enjoy cycling, sailing, windsurfing and playing ice hockey poorly.
