Hard working gentleman, eager to learn.At present I am teaching in the position of PE teacher and Mathematics Teacherin an International Cambridge School. I have been in China since March 2016 addhave taught in an IB School environment, Chinese Public School environmentand an adult English training center.In regard to English teaching, my teaching philosophy is still at the beginningstages, as for Language learning and teaching I have always had an affinity for,sharing the elements of language learning with those I encounter in theworkplace and classroom, and I enjoy learning from others too. I am a speaker of4 languages. I was always a traditional type learner and teacher, thriving andlearning in a top down environment, but when entering the ESL environment, IBenvironment and outside native speakers, I have learned to be moreaccommodating, accepting and creative in my classroom and practice.In regard to PE teaching, I am a health-focused individual with a commitment todelivering dynamic education and training programs that support developmentand enhance health education experiences. Through the promotion of teamworkand group activities, I work to foster a collaborative environment among allstudents by encouraging contributions from all individuals. Additionally, I seekout non-traditional sports to incorporate into the curriculum in order to exposestudents to a variety of physical activities.In regard to Geography teaching, I have a bachelor’s degree majoring inEnvironmental and Geographical Sciences, and have worked as both a teacher inthe geography and practical work experience through working in theconstruction industry. I have a passion for the subject of Geography, both thephysical and social aspects of the subject.As an individual I am an avid traveler, cook, and love the outdoors. I enjoyworking with others, but also thrive working alone or in high stressed situations.Educational needs need to be put first, and children are individuals. I understandthat rapport has to be built and earned between all parties, the school,management, parents, staff and students.I look forward to discussing any matters and feel free to ask any questions. By degree, environmental work and best practices are my core, but beyond those working objectives I have a passion for people uplifting and social unity.I am willing to relocate and do appreciate those dear to myself such as family and friends.Nature, spending time in nature and travel are some of my favourite things, next to my general love of sport and the outdoors.
