Manufacturing Director for the Design Build Fly competition team at Sydney UAV Engineering. I was the head overview of the entire manufacturing process of the competition aircraft. I taught and led a team of manufacturing engineers to contruct the competition aircraft according to the design. I also had significant input during the design phase to ensure the manufacturability of the aircraft and used by past experience to improve the structural capabilities of the aircraft. + Hands-on work in the workshoping constructing the competition aircraft + Teaching manufacturing techniques to new engineers + Completed CAD checks on the design to ensure manufacturability + Regular meetings to discuss design requirements and improvements + Attended competition in the US to monitor health of aircraft and complete maintenance as requiredCompetition Results: + 10th out of 107 teams globally + 1st in Australia and Asia Pacific + 2nd International team

Lead engineer for the Payload Subsystem in the Sydney UAV Engineering Design Build Fly team. Led a team of engineers in which I was previously apart of through the engineering design process to create a payload restraint and deployment method based on a new and unseen design brief. + Overseeing the design of all payload related components for 4 separate aircraft missions + Recruited and managed a team of engineers to research and generate concept models + Coordinate with other subsystems on interfacing components into the aircraft + Continue idea development through later stages toward a finalised set of designs + Organising the manufacture of final products + Followthrough of design throuhgout the competition to maintain functionalityCompetition Results: + 18th out of 99 teams globally + 1st in Australia
