When I was six years old, I used to drive my father crazy because I'd carry small toys in my hand wherever we'd go—legos, Happy Meal toys, etc. I was collecting them, losing them, dropping them. Shortly after, he bought me a child's Yamaha Guitar from the local music store and insisted I travel with the guitar instead of the tiny toys. From that moment on, I'd hop in the back seat of his car with my guitar; I loved figuring out what new sounds I could create. As a result, I have been writing and playing music since the age of seven, and still, today, whenever I am riding around with my father, I happily bring my guitar.
