Using industry experience and technical skills I was part of the successful implementation of a new domestic freight forwarding application for Mainfreight in New Zealand & Australia.

At James Dunlop Textiles I worked as sole Export Dispatcher at their logistics hub while also overseeing the export dispatch process carried out at a secondary warehouse. Other responsibilities and tasks included:- Liaising with freight companies, mainly at an operational level- Investigating and resolving shipment and customs issues - Producing shipment and customs documentation- Arranging special shipments when extra urgency was needed- Checking accuracy of invoices received from freight companiesA highlight was participating as stakeholder in a systems integration project with a major freight provider.

From 2006 to 2008, worked as part of a team to process and dispatch orders, produce shipment and customs documentation, and train new team members.From 2008, I supervised the processing and dispatching process, while liaising with freight companies and internal customer service to investigate and resolve shipment issues. I continued to produce documentation and train new team members.
