Working directly with the clients I align their needs with Arista deliverables. I act as a single point of contact into Arista for client Engineering, Architecture and Business teams. My role includes providing Engineering Designs, Automation Scripts, Proof of Concept Labs, customer training and mentoring, business performance reviews, and the co-ordination of activities across client and Arista teams. I am able to deliver to, and work with, all levels of management for common deliverables, business reviews, and quickly respond to escalations. Collaborating with the DevOps teams I help integrate the versatile Arista platforms into a more automated, cloud like data centre ecosystem.Alongside these activities, I use my experience in designing, building, and operating global financial networks to provide constructive and relevant feedback that will help develop new and existing products. I have been actively supporting U Can Too in a voluntary capacity teaching, mentoring, the creating practical exhibits, and supporting their popular technology events. This has involved presenting classroom lessons to nearly 300 key stage 2 children in primary schools. The lessons introduced the concepts around web sites and their use of HTML. During these lessons I had the children redesigning their school web site with some great results. This has involved presenting classroom lessons to nearly 300 key stage 2 children in primary schools. The lessons introduced the concepts around web sites and their use of HTML. During these lessons I had the children redesigning their school web site with some great results. The children came away excited and inspired by what they could achieve.I have provided mentor and practical support for physical computing events at the Institute of Imagination in London (https://ioi.london/) these events utilised the Birdbrain Hummingbird Kits (https://www.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/).I designed, built, and provided practical exhibits for the U Can Too Fairs (Mozilla Maker Parties) these included a Sphero (http://www.gosphero.com/education/) maze, a code breaker game, a human interactive crane challenge, and a Minecraft server activity. All the activities provided platforms for the children to explore different aspects of coding and computer technology. The exhibits combined practical interfaces with computer applications such as Scratch, Makey Makey, and some of the Mozilla web tools.These events created interest from Mozilla and subsequently U Can Too Events exhibited at MozFest 2014 & MozFest 2015 with pupils from a participating school. I was involved in the U Can Too element of MozFest, supporting the children in their presentation of the activities on offer to the visitors.I am continuing to design and create new conceptual activities for future events as we continue to provide a technology, web and digital literacy events. With U Can Too I have been helping out at various Coder Dojos in London and Kent. Show less
