I think, write and talk about human-AI co-creation and partnership, and ethical AI development and use. AI implementation does not automatically and immediately return value; my focus now is on helping leadership and users successfully implement models that deliver outcomes efficiently and quickly. I have significant broadcast, production workflow and management experience in the electronic media industry.I have a deep interest in human and group performance, and how seemingly ordinary groups and people sometimes excel at enormous tasks, and how they sometime fail. To this end, my research has focused on the psychology of belonging and human performance, and the factors and preconditions in organisations and groups that cause and allow people to excel.In addition to some success, I’ve failed so many times that it would be easy to let those failures characterise me. But I’d like to think that we learn more from our failures than our wins, that I’ve indeed learned and grown from these failures, and that they’ve shaped me as a person and made me a better human being.
