My career is focused on working with large teams of subject matter experts to develop renewable energy and other real estate development projects. I enjoy working with the hundreds of people that it takes to get these large-scale infrastructure improvement projects permitted, designed, financed and constructed. They are the ones that make it happen, and I am glad to be a part of the journey. Adjunct Professor, Expert Witness, Department Of Civil Engineering And Construction ManagementCalifornia State University, Northridge Jan 2009 - Jan 2011Northridge, Ca, UsCMT 220, “Building Construction” – this course taught students all phases of building construction, including mass grading, foundation preparation and design, framing, rough and finish trades as well as critical path scheduling.CMT 334, “Construction Equipment and Methods,” – this course taught students the analytical methods required to determine the operating efficiency of heavy construction equipment such as cranes, loaders, end dumps and scrappers.Expert Witness Construction Defect LitigationWorked in construction defect litigation as an expert witness most notably on the crane collapse at the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge (Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge) wherein I was asked to visit the site, inspect the collapse and determine the cause. After an onsite investigation and review of the engineering drawings, I was able to determine that the collapse was caused by the fact that the guy wires were not attached as they were supposed to have been during wind gusts exceeding fifty (50) miles per hour. -
