Leading a small team that builds, packages, and ships linear measuring systems utilizing contact and non-contact measuring methods in measuring ranges from fractions of inches to 60 feet (0.1mm to 20m). We utilize a wide variety of off the shelf components from vendors and custom parts made in house to mechanically and electronically assemble a measuring system to meet our customers’ needs. We maintain a catalog of stock measuring systems that will measure linear distance in a single axis or 1, 2 or 3 axis measuring systems including custom designed systems to meet a customers’ specific application. Our measuring systems are used in a variety of industries including; aerospace, food service, light manufacturing, heavy manufacturing, medical, woodworking, construction materials, and energy.

Responsible for all machining, including small production runs, prototyping, fixture building and maintenance. In addition, have filled other roles including; trade show staging/setup/staffing and teardown, design and engineering, order entry and fulfillment, shipping/receiving and traffic management, and customer service/repair management.

For over five seasons I was a raft guide and trip leader on Class III-IV whitewater trips on rivers in Colorado, West Virginia, Costa Rica, North Carolina and Tennesee. My role as a Raft Guide was to ensure an exciting yet safe day long experience though remote rivers for the passengers of my raft. Additionally as a Trip Leader I was responsible for a group of up to 10 rafts, planning the days logistics and managing the other raft guides in the trip.

Machining and fabrication of prototype and limited run parts for custom automation machinery. Duties included; project management, part programming, fixturing, setup and running of fabrication equipment.

A variety of responsibilities including; moldmaking, mold repair, general molding and secondary operations, general machining, proto-type machining, fixture making and production machining.

General maintenance of 60 condominiums and 3 hotels at the base area of the ski mountain. Duties included; general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, grounds maintenance, and supply stocking.

Responsibilities included; machining and fabrication of component pieces of machinery, assembly and installation of pneumatic and hydraulic components, electrical wiring of control cabinets and electronic components, testing and installation of finished machines.
