As a Staff Accountant for Mid America I managed the accounting portfolios of multiple properties at once, and handled the monthly, and quarterly close process. My daily tasks included preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and making sure each property is up to date with their financial bookkeeping for our clients. I also participated in the training process for our new employees, helping them to get comfortable with the accounting process and software used at our company.

I have mostly worked in the front-end department, assisting and operating the cash register while contributing to retail sales. I have also delegated tasks to co-workers working as a team to manage the workload. I have been Involved in routine daily audits, the handling of inventory, and providing quality member service to our Costco members.
