The Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (enei) is a UK-based non-profit leading in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in workplaces. Through membership, training, and consultancy services, enei supports employers in their journey to foster inclusive cultures.The Diversity & Inclusion Lead role is strategically significant as we work to guide and support our growing membership and client base. We leverage our expertise in Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) to enhance our services' development, delivery, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities:- Service Design and Development: Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to design, develop, and improve our services across membership, training, and consultancy.- Event and Training Delivery: Develop and deliver a range of events, including member workshops, webinars, and roundtables, along with our two annual flagship events. Also responsible for creating and delivering a range of DEI training sessions.- Consultancy Project Management: Work with members and clients on various consultancy projects, providing DEI related information, advice, and guidance.- Collateral Development: Collaborate with colleagues or work independently on the development of enei's member collateral, such as Employer Guides, Quick Guides, and Report Summaries.- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain a network of relationships across the DEI landscape to bring fresh insights into our organisation.- Service Signposting: Ensure members and clients are aware of the additional services we provide and signpost them to these at the appropriate times.

With a variety of programmes designed to support, educate and inspire LGBT+ young persons and a core team of two people, we both frequently wore many hats. I led the planning and implementation of the youth club workshop curriculum, coordinated our school drop-in program, drove Mosaic’s social action group and acted as a Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation.I supported the director with policy development, management of the mentor team, and facilitation of the residential program.As the young persons are Mosaic's biggest priority I also supported their development as a mentor, facilitating one-on-one check-ins. On behalf of our members I engaged with schools, colleges, and other institutions that support LGBT+ young persons advocating for fair and equal treatment, as well as encouraging celebration of their identity.
