New role at Western Power as a Senior Data Scientist in the Forecasting and Data Science group. Specifically, my role entails augmenting the spatial dimension in temporal forecasting processes, utilising spatial analytics and location intelligence. Working as a Data Scientist and GIS expert on a new forecasting solution named Energy Forecasting 2.0, within the larger GT Engine project scope.

Senior Spatial Analyst at Western Power. As a member of the Works Program Planning group, I am responsible for delivering the best possible GIS data quality for the Editing and Publication divisions of spatial information at Western Power. A significant component of the work is working with LiDAR, multispectral RGB and sattelite imagery from Sentinel to create strategic planning models for vegetation management, including predicting hazards and vegetation growth rates. Another major ongoing task is providing content in ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS, with particular reference to develop robust, automated solutions for the administration, security and content management of maps, apps in ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS. This involves extensive use of the arcgis.gis python API. and the automated management of edits made in Web Apps directly, or when people use Collector for ArcGIS in the field.
