We are the UK representative company for Cosco Shipping Bulk. Our responsibility includes promoting Cosco's fleet into mainly the Atlantic hemisphere with a view to commencing, evolving and improving trade relationships.Largely focused on Cape, Minicape, Panamax and Handymax trading with end users. We are a growing office with increasing responsibility and closer liaison with our Guangzhou and Hong Kong colleagues. This extends to sourcing new clients, coa's and spot cargoes, and the associated freight calculations and risk assessments.I have now also reintroduced chartering/operating under our own remit and risk, using third party tonnage contracting to commodity traders and have developed this into a very profitable addition to our broking arm.As leader of the dry desk we have had successful and rewarding returns in the last few years. We continue to exceed expectations and development for the Cosco Group despite a challenging market and continue to look for new opportunities and relationships.
