Hugo Jimenez has spent his entire career involved in the commercial applications of disruptive technologies. Trained initially as a polymer chemist, his life work has ranged from "stealth" technology to broadband IP to interactive media.Mr. Jimenez has spent the last 20 years in Corporate and Business Development for a variety of clients in telecommunications, interactive media and health care. He specializes in working with emergent companies that have an evolutionary product or service, to develop and execute on capitalization and strategic business development plans. Mr. Jimenez began his current career path with an ISP start-up, World Wide Net, and a successful exit. From there, he became a successful Business development executive at NorthPoint, a pioneering broadband provider, MetroMedia Fiber Networks and Dicon Fiber Optics. His client roster included Microsoft, Hughes Network Systems, Tandy and Toshiba. Mr. Jimenez founded Bethlehem Technologies, as he saw the exciting opportunities in the convergence of interactive media with telecommunications. This convergence would require experienced technologists and corporate development strategists to serve the next generation of technology entrepreneurs and their emergent companies.Currently, Mr. Jimenez is on the Board of Tu Vision Canal, the “YouTube for Hispanics” and LuvBeats, an E-Greeting App for On-Line Daters and is the Interim EVP & GM of TuStarShop. He is also an Angel Investor in emergent companies such as SpotMagic, LuvBeats and TeleTienda.
