Living in Mexico City, I work for Saavi Energia, one of the largest power companies in Mexico with more than 25 years in the electricity market.With 25 years of professional experience, I have been involved in diverse technology roles, acting as a Cybersecurity Consultant at Grupo Scanda and Infrastructure Lead at MaxiGas Natural.For the last fifteen years, as IT Manager for Saavi, I have been responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading all technology activities within the organization. The team I lead has been key to successfully delivering on some of the most important initiatives of the company like the acquisition of two power plants in 2008, the commissioning of two new assets in 2015, and the divestment of all Mexican assets to create a new company in 2018.Currently, my most important challenge is to incorporate new technology solutions into the organization to achieve the goal of becoming the reference private power company in Mexico. I obtained a Computer Science degree when I graduated with Honors in 1998 from La Salle University, one of the most prestigious Universities in his country. In 2015 I attended the Leadership Development Program offered by CCL in North Carolina, US.Besides my interest and passion for technology, I enjoy the journey of developing high-performance teams capable of facing the challenges of evolving energy markets. For me, the strength and success of a group rely on creating trust and mature and strong professional relationships. Outside the office, I love sharing my time with my family and like to do exercise, especially running and swimming.
