PortuguêsHugo Rolim nasceu no Ribatejo em 1976, mas foi em Lisboa, no Instituto Superior Técnico, que fez a licenciatura (2002) e o mestrado em Engenharia e Gestão Industrial. Completou ainda uma pós-graduação em segurança do trabalho e um programa de MBA no Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (2010).Iniciou a sua actividade profissional no sector das telecomunicações e tecnologias de informação (2001), tendo ainda trabalhado numa das maiores organizações portuguesas do sector da saúde. No entanto, é principalmente na área industrial que tem vindo a trabalhar, exercendo funções com responsabilidades de coordenação e gestão, tanto em produção como em projectos de construção e manutenção um pouco por toda a Europa. Actualmente trabalha numa companhia industrial internacional, tendo a seu cargo a gestão da sucursal portuguesa.Dedica os seus tempos livres à família, à leitura, à internet, à televisão e às actividades ao ar livre.EnglishHugo Rolim was born in Ribatejo (Portugal) but it was in Lisbon at Instituto Superior Técnico that he got his MEng (2002) and Master of Industrial Engineering and Management. He also completed a post -graduate degree in health and safety and a MBA at ISEG School of Economics and Management (2010).He started his professional career in the industry of telecommunications and information technology (2001). He also worked in a major portuguese healthcare institution. However, he has been mainly focused in the industrial field, holding direction and coordination positions on production management as well as on maintenance and construction projects all over Europe. Currently, he holds a manager position in an international industrial company where he is responsible for the management of the portuguese branch.Most of his free time is spent with his family or reading, in the internet, watching tv or in the open air.
