I work with unemployed customers who are looking for direction in their job search path. I assit customers with the best possible way to make themselves more employable either thru education or assisting with resume development. I also teach a class on Job Search Techniques which helps customers get job search ready. Helping customers choose the next path to take in their careers is something I really enjoy doing.

Assisted welfare to work participants with developing a plan to come off Cash assistance. Conducted assessments to help the customers in making wise career decisions. Developed Community Work Experience sites to provide our customers real life work experiences in many different industries. Responsible for assuring that customers get their weekly stipends so they would be able to get around on the bus and participate with our program. In charge of keeping track of Vouchers being given to our customers to provide such things as medical care, clothes for interviews, pay for school tuition and books and many other supportive services.

Assisted single parents in finding employment or going to training.Conducted comprehesive assessments for transferable skills, career finding tools, and job readiness. Supervised an office of 4 to 6 employees assisting them with any needs they may have to best advocate and assist our customers. Interviewed and hired new staff. Made sure that all human resource paperwork was completed on time.In Charge of Developing a program to streamline childcare referrals to assist our customers with childcare needs. Brought together different program Supervisors to effectively streamline the childcare referral process. Developed policies and procedures for this new program. Interviewed, hired and Trained 5 new employees on the new policies and procedures for authorizing childcare services for our Jobs Program customers.
