I am a Mechanical and Ocean Engineer with over 5 years of combined experience in project management and product development of wind and water-powered renewable energy technologies, and large-scale mechanical systems. Previously I have taken the role of Director of R&D during the development of a wave energy converter, establishing and managing an international research partnership. I also worked as Engineering Manager developing a novel 14-foot-by-48-foot mechanical scrolling billboard. My PhD work focused on the development, optimization, and bench and field testing of a novel tidal turbine. I have a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering.
