    As a part time employee the responsibility was to work with vinyl, laminate, adhesive, digital prints to apply to substrates such as sintra, acrylics, laminate, among others. A design layout specialist would print or cut these materials and it was my responsibility to apply them to substrates that would be shipped to events as the final product to our clients. In the two years that I was in this position the company and the industry where going through a vast change from vinyl to digital prints. I went from cutting materials with exacto knifes and peeling vinyl to operating large print laminators, adhesive application machines and mass cutting devices to improve our output.What I most value from this position was understanding what the importance of being part of a team. If I slowed down I affected the entire team production. I also learned the definition of hard work. Printing is always the last thing to be approved in this industry. You have to be ready at what ever time you are needed. We averaged 14-16 hour days and sometimes overnight production to get out some of the work out during high season. Experiencing Hardwork and Teamwork for my first professional position was a great way to get started.
