Managing Content Discovery @Vodafone TV across 10 markets, driving strategic partnerships and optimizing viewer engagement.

Founded and led a new business division dedicated to driving global sales of next-generation TV solutions to telecommunications operators. Spearheaded strategy and execution, building a high-performing sales pipeline and establishing key partnerships to accelerate revenue growth across diverse international markets. Through targeted prospecting and consultative sales approaches, I positioned innovative TV solutions that enhanced customer portfolios and expanded market presence.Since 2011, NOS (ex-ZON) has significantly changed the way how customers watch TV. After launching the internationally multi-awarded TV interface named IRIS, we have constantly evolved the customer experience by launching several features including: - Timewarp: the ability to watch any show that aired over the past 7 days - NetworkPVR: customers can now record events on the cloud - Multiscreen: PC, tablet and smartphone added to the TV forming a "TV everywhere" experience - APPS: bringing the internet to the living room with APPS on the TV such as YouTube Player, YouTube channels, Sports, Gaming, etc - Tailored recommendations: algorithm that recommends shows to a given customer based on his/ her TV experienceNow, we're ready to help change the way how your customers watch TV.

- Responsible for IRIS product management, the triple play (TV, Internet and Fixed Voice) solution that revamped ZON product offer in the portuguese market. - Led the go to market of ZON first quadruple play offer.- Also in charge of product management for all TV content, such as movies, series, sports (including the ZON North Canyon project), kids, adults, documentaries, both on the video-on-demand side as well as on the channels side (more than 150 TV channels). This included deepening the relation with the most relevant content providers to capture all the potential associated with the most popular contents and negotiating the acquisition of some contents. - Led the go to market strategy of IRIS from 2012 onwards, ensuring that the commercial areas we're fully contextualized with the advantages and unique features that allowed them to close sales more efficiently. Developed and implemented incentives for these areas.- Directly responsible for a team of 10 people covering marketing and communication annual budget and strategic planning for the above mentioned areas.- Specialist in identifying key improvement areas for quick wins and in defining and implementing medium to long term action plans to address improvement needs, including internal relationships within the company to improve mutual contextualization and business goals alignment.

- IRIS project leader. Once in a lifetime project, where, to sum it up, the new world class TV solution went on to conquer the exact same award previously granted to the iPhone and to Netflix in the TV of TOMORROW awards for Most Disruptive/ Innovative User Interface (San Francisco, USA). It also won the Janus Award for Service with Best Design, granted by the French Design Academy and was named Product of the Year in 2013. This project involved the management of technical teams, product teams, UX specialists, several sleepless nights, travelling to several countries more than 30 times and working extremely close with some world class suppliers.- In parallel, was in charge of developing the new remote control for IRIS, working closely with frog design (if you're read Steve Jobs biography you know who they are), including travelling to Germany and China to ensure full project control, perfect coordination between design house and hardware supplier (engineers and designers, a complex equation:)) and delivery within time (trust me, it was close...).- Led a team of four people, who where in charge of part of the triple play (TV, internet and voice) product management and communication, logistics for TV equipments and ZON new website definition and implementation. - Identified the opportunity, and implemented the project to save close to 1.000.000 EUR/year by simply changing and optimizing the packaging material used to transport equipments at ZON.

- Managed the project that upgraded ZON network to support unbelievable internet speeds (from 30Mb to 100Mb), in what was the basis for ZON Fibra (Fiber) offer. - Managed the project that allowed ZON to develop and launch the proprietary, flexible and beautifully designed (by frog design) data and voice modem: the ZON HUB. There are now than 500.000 units installed all over Portugal. - Simultaneously, managed the first worldwide implementation of a high-end solution to monitor ZON HUB's remotely in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and immediate solving of problems, allowing for significant savings by avoiding truck rolls and customer churn. Customer care used to be blind...not anymore.

In parallel with my work at ZON, I was one of the founders of YouClient. It's a platform where anyone can find and share reviews about all types of places and services (Spots), anywhere in the world.A restaurant, a bookshop, a taylor or a university, you can write about all that or find out what other people think about the Spots you are looking for. YouClient was a community where everyone shared their experiences for free.

While in the Project Finance team, specialized in the analysis, due diligence and financing recommendation of projects in the Energy (Renewables in particular) and Infrastructures sectors.
