I’m a Partner and I have been at Abreu Advogados since 2007. I’m part of the Commercial Law team, and work primarily on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and commercial contracts. I’m focused particularly on corporate and financial matters, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, corporate restructuring, asset purchases, creating investment vehicles, start-ups, preparation for private equity funding and venture capital financing. As part of my mergers and acquisitions work, I conduct corporate and commercial due diligence, assisting acquisition structures and negotiation and drafting of acquisition contracts. I have extensive experience in financial, sports, energy, health food and beverage, real estate and transport sectors. I have conducted several project implementations in Portugal for foreign group companies and led multidisciplinary teams to ensure client support in all areas required for successful implementation. Finally, I have also been involved with transactions in Mozambique, advising and providing support by networking with lawyers participating in Abreu International Legal Solutions service. I speak fluent English and Spanish.
