As CEO and board member I accompany shareholders who need to grow, transform, restructure and/or sell the companies they own. Relying on a strong analytical background and a problem-solving mindset (former strategy consultant) I have worked in industries which have disrupted others (e-commerce) or which have been transformed by technological or regulatory evolutions (life sciences, transportation & mobility, energy sourcing & retailing).My leadership experience covers a variety of business models : - Both asset-free and capital intensive businesses.- Both subscription-based and one-time purchase / yield-based revenue models.Multicultural (French and Spanish), I have been a CEO and a board member of several companies over Europe and North America. Eurolines operates as a platform relying on a network of selected local subcontractors (not owning any coach fleet, nor employing any driver). I was the CEO of Eurolines parent company, overseeing 6 European subsidiaries (France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic). Board member of those companies. Prior to my appointment, Eurolines was disrupted by online pure players.Main achievements :- Improved EBIT by €20 million in 3 years :1) Implemented a hub-and-spoke network strategy which improved revenue per km by 80% (non-profitable long lines were cut, strategic hub lines were reinforced).2) Made transported passengers grow again (+10% in 2018 YoY) by growing online sales from 25 to 75% of total sales (new app & website, new online customer acquisition program).3) Cut payroll costs by 35% by automating processes thanks to the implementation at European level of a new IT system (inventory & pricing management, CRM, business intelligence...) which replaced a multitude of heterogeneous local legacy systems.- Conducted the financial and legal process which led to a share purchase agreement with a global competitor, FlixBus, aiming at strengthening its position in Europe. After the closing (May 2019) managed the transition alongside the new owner (till July 2019).
