Miami Steel is a $600 million independent scrap-to-steel EAF mill project located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. As Head of Corporate Development, I lead all of the company's financing, value optimization and modeling work streams. Corporate development activities include, but are not limited to, securing pre-development, equity and debt financing for the primary mill project, the development of waste-to-energy and floating solar facilities to supply up to 100% of the mill's energy needs, and the development of upstream scrap recycling and downstream fabrication facilities for full vertical integration. My responsibilities include strategic planning, opportunity modeling, investor and lender liaison, due diligence coordination and contract negotiation for the primary mill project, ancillary ventures and mills in other geographies.

I assisted Professor April Knill at Florida State University's College of Business with her research by collecting, formatting, and presenting large amounts of data. Topics included faculty gender pay gap and the influence of lobbying on court decisions.

Crédit Agricole Alpes Développement (C2AD) is a regional private equity subsidiary of Crédit Agricole providing tailored funding solutions to local start-ups and SMEs. C2AD makes investments across the capital structure typically through equity and convertible debt. As part of my responsibilites, I helped associates analyze and model investment opportunities, interview target companies, and compile information into investment memoranda for distribution and presentation to the investment committee. I also assisted middle-office staff with monitoring portfolio companies and reporting portfolio performance to executives.
