In charge of operating, maintaining and repairing Auxiliary and propulsion equipment to include: Steering engines, food preparation equipment, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, anchor windlass, laundry equipment, hydraulic equipment, main propulsion turbines, gas turbine generators, main reduction gears and diesel engines. Completes and analyzes maintenance data systems forms, uses blueprints, drawings and manuals. Trains and develops subordinates and manage maintenance activities.
