My role is instrumental in shaping transformative customer experiences across Coupang's core sectors: eCommerce, Fresh (our online grocery venture), and Eats (our food delivery service).Our overarching mission at Coupang is to create a world where customers ask, “How did I ever live without Coupang?” We're on the lookout for fervent innovators to join us on this journey. I built the Pinterest Search and Discovery team from day one. My role centered on ensuring Pinterest users could access the most personal, relevant, and high-quality content they either already loved or would come to appreciate. This was achieved through our Search and Discovery engine, which incorporated features such as search, visual search, recommendations, a personalized homefeed, and topical feeds. These functionalities drew from Pinterest's Interest Graph, the world's most extensive collection of human-curated indexes.

Tech lead and dev manager of Google Custom Search Engine (http://www.google.com/cse/). Recruited and built a large eng team at Google Kirkland from scratch, took over the product almost at its lowest point, and then completely revived the growth (3X traffic) with consistently fast-pace feature launches, and shaped the product into a feature-rich, stable, and powerful platform that is widely recognized and adopted by millions of partners (nytimes, CNN, techcrunch, etc) as well as many Google internal products (help center, Chrome webstore, etc). Led the team to thoroughly redesigned/redefined Custom Search in almost all major components such as indexing, quality/relevancy/retrieval, ads, admin console, search UI, autocomplete, promotions, and also delivered many innovative features such as Custom Image Search, automatic thumbnail, autocomplete promotion, and new CSE initiatives such as Veterans Job Bank (http://googlecustomsearch.blogspot.com/2011/11/power-of-structured-search-new-job.html).
