I worked alongside Dr. Meredith Whitnah on her research regarding the intersecting topics of religion and gender. Dr. Whitnah gave a public lecture on “Making Sense of the #MeToo Moment: An Institutional and Cultural Perspective,” where I compiled background research on the origins of the movement. Other work consisted of supporting her on her own original research by collecting and analyzing sociological journals.

This position is where I learned about the value of customer service and building trustworthy relationships amongst the staff members at the college. My worked ranged from interacting with visitors to supporting the transition of the president's assistants.

Here, I was able to learn how to accumulate a strong sense of adaptability and problem solving. My work consisted of:- Learning how to navigate and troubleshoot the library's computer and printer systems. - Communicating with the ITT directors and specialists.
