Responsible for new development and modification of the Mac Pac ERP system. Consulted directly with users and performed analysis and design for all enhancement code written for Mac Pac. During my tenure at Suntron I was the sole Iseries resource for 7 years.Created applications to streamline part definition creation, sales order creation, and purchase order creation via uploaded Excel formatted spreadsheets which saved considerable manhours of data-entry.Authored the interface module for the Fusion Ops purchasing system. Sending extracted master file data and material requirements planning changes from Mac Pac and accepting transactions from Fusion Ops to generate new purchase orders and modify existing purchase orders. Fusion Ops was used to centralize all purchasing for the company.Developed a listing to report labor and overhead calculations for a manufactured part. The detail listed each sub-assembly and routing step costs. This report was used to validate the cost to build against sales price.Produced an alternative method from the standard Mac Pac scrap efficiency to calculate a scrap factor based on either a percent or minimum waste quantity when setting up Surface Mount Technology type parts.

Applied PTFs (Program Temporary Fixes) supplied by Arthur Andersen and assisted with upgrades to new versions of that package.Supported the in-house General Ledger reporting system and assisted with interfacing the GL data with corporate headquarters at Siebe.Team member working on the Y2K conversion of Mac Pac.

Programmer/consultant - hired to permanent staff and eventually managed a team of programmers responsible for the development of tracking subscribers for multi-media properties managed by Whittle Communications. All code for these applications were written in-house.Developed a 'template' format for enrolling and tracking subscribers to facilitate faster turn around of new media launches.Built databases and program tracking modules for media such as Channel One (required installation of satellite and cable television for classrooms), Physicians Weekly (required advertiser rotations), Dental Health Advisor, and initial design work for Medical News Network tracking and building installations.
